This is also referred to as respite care.3
What is the Difference Between Home Care and Home Health Care?

Home Health Care is provided by a skilled nurse or medical professional in the recipient's home. Home care is provided by a trained caregiver in the recipients home.4
Is Home Care Covered by Medicare?
Non-medical home care is generally not covered by Medicare or Medical. Medical home health care on the other hand can be covered under Medicare when certain conditions are met.5
